nice Mod - already bookmarked :mrgreen:

It would be great if it will be possible to add some kind of categories feature - like if someone is using the mod for a band fanpage they can file the content in categories like "interviews", "tv-appearances", "live clips" and so on.
Hmmm... I'll look at the code and see.
Hi Keith,

are you still considering some king of categorie/grouping feature? :geek:
DocSommer - I'm about to make the next version public... Just wanted to give you a heads-up on your request. I wasn't able to add the categories features in the way you were asking. However, you still have this option:

Open

Code: Select all

root/styles/yourstyle/youtube.html
Find

Code: Select all

quvic.PresentVideos('recently_featured','',1);
Replace With

Code: Select all

quvic.PresentVideos('search','your_search_term_here',1);
Note: Be sure to replace your_search_term_here with the term you want the script to search for. For example, sports, movies, etc. Also, DO NOT remove the quotation marks around the search term.

Mod Updated To Beta Version 1.0.0

Update instructions are in the "contrib" folder of the download. The download link is in the 1st post of this topic. I also updated the FAQ post (2nd post in this topic).

  • Add - Auto-hide menu bar (that displays the play/pause and other video options).
  • Add - Thumbnail display of video's playback time (shown on search results thumbnails).
  • Fix - Install instructions to make Auto-mod compliant.
  • Upgrade Notes - If you're using version 0.1.1a the upgrade instructions are in the contrib folder.
    • If you're using a version older than 0.1.1a you DO NOT have to upgrade version to version. You can undo the edits of the version you're using, then follow the install instructions in version 1.0.0.

Enjoy :D [/b]

Hi Keith !
Thank you for the great mod!!!

Can anyone help me with this please.

I don't know anything about codes but I was able to put this mod in my portal but the video over takes the sidebar, is it possible to autosize the video? if so, how can i do that? hope you can help me.

Thanks!
Rick.

Off the top of my head... Not that I'm aware of.

However, when I get back into the code I'll see if I can figure it out.
