shouldn't be problem but no mod for normal editor will works for enhanced editor. tinymce plugins are completely different from normal editor's mod.

Hello,

I just installed this mod and it seems to be working, but could someone please explain to me how would I go about adding functions to the editor?
For example I was able to add a 'table' button by adding it to emotinymce_editor.html, but it doesn't seem to work...

Do I need to add a BBCode for it or something?
I'm not sure how this thing work...

Thanks

you should not add bbcodes to emotinymce.html you can add custom bbcodes in acp, posting tab.

Hi!

Something annoys me.

When I write some text and go to new line (pressing Enter), in editor shows like this:

If I click preview (or post and then try to edit it) in editor is showing like this (also in post!):

Let's say it's ok. But If I try skip one line in same post I have to press Enter twice and it looks like this (maybe confusing for users - they might think the lines are too far):

If I click preview (or post and then try to edit it) in editor is showing like this (also in post!):

This things bothers me since I started using this mod. It's a great mod, but sometimes I'm confused too when using it.
Don't forget to clear cache, refresh template, theme and imageset, double check all files :)

		convert_urls : false,
add after:

Code: Select all

		force_br_newlines : true,
		force_p_newlines : false,
		forced_root_block : '',

Why I haven't posted earlier :)

Works like a charm and thank you very much!

Btw, how can I use this editor in other mods (for example Classifieds mod, Knowledgebase mod etc.)

this will need modification on both php and template of those mods. TinyMCE for Quick-Reply is a good reference to see what should be added in php and in template ;)

Thanks!
So I just add a custom bbcode and maybe an image for the button, and it automatically becomes 'wysiwyg'?
cool!

not 'wysiwyg' but automatically show in editor. it is not good idea to make every bbcodes wysiwyg, then could not edit text easily.

I see...

I get what you are saying about over-using wysiwyg... but people like it.
I think a lot of people feel intimidated by bbcodes.

Anyway thanks for a great mod!

i've tried to install this mod with no success.

I used the AutoMod, plus using the standard prosilver theme.

It comes up as installed ok with no errors but i get this on the page

I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari. All the same result.
