I'm using version 1.0.5

But I think there's an error in the installation, the file styles/prosilver/template memberlist_body.html

Find:

Code: Select all

<th class="posts">&nbsp;</th>
Add After:

Code: Select all

<th class="posts">&nbsp;</th>
I believe it is

Code: Select all

<th class="articles">&nbsp;</th>
Thanks
I am actually still using the posts style class. I didn't find it necessary to duplicate the same code to create a separate class.

Nice MOD, I hope you will submit it :).

Just a small question : in the code, where is located the jQuery file calling ? I searched, but I found nothing ...
Looks like a leftover from previous author. I believe it was used for the rating system previously, but I am making sure I cannot find that it is being used. If it is not used I will remove in next release.
Thanks for pointing this out.

For me it seems, that jquery is used for the styles/prosilver/template/kb/rating_js.html

I still have 1.0.2 installed and assume I have to upgrade via 1.0.3 -> 1.0.4 -> 1.0.5. Is that correct? If so, where van I find 1.0.4 (I have found 1.0.3)?

No longer available. Remember that it is beta and is not suitable for a live forum is. Beta 1.0.5 still has bugs, see here http://kb.pertneer.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=60

You should at least wait for a Release Version of this mod. As wintstar said in his last post the last Beta 1.0.5 is not suitable for live enviroments.

Thanks,

It is best to wait for a validated release on a live board as stated by Wintstar. There are still a few bugs even in version 1.0.5. I am currently looking into these bugs, but it is not stable enough to run on a live board.

When a final release is available I would suggest a fresh install as alot has changed. I am considering the ability to import a sql dump of your current articles from the database from version 1.0.2, but this is still down the road a bit.

All versions of my development are available for testing(not on a live board), but I am only working on bugs from the most current release and if you are looking to test the latest version is recommended for testing purposes. I have only just started an upgrade path from version 1.0.4 -> 1.0.5. so a fresh install is required.

Nice mod, took a plunge into using it however i noticed something.

I installed this by hand on a vanilla 3.0.11, nothing else installed. Everything has been fine however i'm noticing random flickering on page reloads which didn't start until i installed this mod.

For example on board index at times, i notice it flickers when reloading or going to a topic and there is no style at all like plain white but flashes back to the normal skin.

I did purge and all that and i even followed the directions to a T.

Any one have any remote idea as to why this is occurring?

It has to do with the load time of the board. I have experienced this my self and have been trying to track the cause. I believe it is actually a delay in loading the css information. but once they load once it seams to go away, so it may be a caching issue. What I do not understand is why it affects the rest of the board. :(
