[BETA] phpBB Knowledge Base

Modification Name: phpBB Knowledge Base
Author: t_backoff

Modification Description: A Knowledge Base MOD for phpBB3.
Modification Version: 0.1.0

Requirements: PHP5

Features:
  • Multiple categories
  • Support for BBCode and smilies
  • Approve, Disapprove, Deny, Edit, and Delete functions
  • PM article author on approve, disapprove, and deny actions
Demo URL: http://www.tbackoff.com/
Demo Username: Registration required
Demo Password: Registration required

Modification Download: http://www.tbackoff.com/MODs/phpBB_Knowledge_Base.zip

Alright, I'm giving this another go. This time, I intend to finish. There will not be support for attachments. I will probably add permissions for BBCodes, URLs, and Smilies (the last version didn't have those).

Note sure what you're trying to imply. I had a Knowledge Base MOD in development some time ago, but abandoned it. I've now decided to re-open development. I don't recall a MOD policy that stated there couldn't be more then one MOD that does the same thing. :?

No, this one is being re-built from the ground up.

Demo URL is up. Registration is only required if you want to test posting, editing, and deleting articles. For testing purposes, I made it so that articles are automatically approved (this will not be the case in the final version). I'm still working out some fine details, so there is no download yet.

Found a bug with the permissions system (thanks Danielx64! :P ). I plan on doing some more work over the weekend and hopefully have a BETA out next week.

Welcome anytime :) I was going to delete it but that would be going too far
