MOD Title: Simple Points System MOD Description: This mod adds a simple rewards system to your forum. It supports only one currency. You can set the amount of points per new topic and reply. You can also set the name of the currency. MOD Version: 0.5.1 phpBB Version: 3.0.0
Some additional info:
You can view a user's points in his profile, and in viewtopic. Admins can edit a user's cash in the ACP. The name says: "Simple Points System". That's because it only supplies the most basic and simple features. Only one currency. Just keep it simple.
Donation has been removed as I found that it was a unnecessary feature. The points moderation panel has also been removed because I find that profile fields should only be altered by admins. As an admin, you can edit points in the ACP.

If you are talking about Handyman's Cash Mod, I should say that this mod is a lot less complicated that his. His mod supports multiple currencies, my mod only one.

I am new to phpBB is there a software program that will automatically install the mods where they need to go? or do you have to do a lot of manual work?
sorry if this is not the right area but this is the mod i want
Thank you for this excellent mod! I installed it yesterday quickly and easily.
I had been using the Cash Mod for this kind of thing on my old phbBB 2 board. It worked fine, but I wasn't in need of its fancier features so it was overkill for me. Your Simple Points System for phpBB 3 was perfect. It gives me the old basic Cash Mod functionality that I had in place for months, and I was able to get it up and running quickly.
Plus, it was very easy to extend use of your mod to my php site's pages (outside of my forum, but integrated with the forum's log in). So now events that occur elsewhere on my site are earning points too.
If you mean database update file, there isn't a database update file from 0.2.3 to 0.3.0 or previous versions.
Or, if you mean MODX installation file: If you are running 0.2.1 or 0.2.2, you should be able to use the 0.2.3 to 0.3.0 installation, because in version 0.2.2 and 0.2.3 there haven't been any code edits, except for the database update file.

I presume that this system DOESN'T have a per-character points option?
