I know the latest post is showing only at the bottom because that's how the topics work. is there some way you can make it so that the latest post is at the top? Make it different from the topics...

Hello Paul,

Thanks for this great mod.
I think I have found two bugs.
1. QR doesnt work, it redirects to memberlist instead.
2. I have edit permissions on my own guestbook. If I edit a message in my guestbook written by another user, suddenly I appear as author of the message instead of the original user.

Done, but I didnt report the one about the QR because it seems to be working fine on your site.
Got to be a problem on my site then.

Hello,
Does the CAPTCHA confirmation code HAVE to be in this MOD? If so, can we choose which one/ is it the same as the board default?

For example, when I view http://www.phpbbguestbook.com I see this CAPTCHA: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0e0a1l413

I personally have great difficulty reading these and prefer a more simple one such as this one: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0faa1lfe0

Also, do logged in users have to enter the code? / Are there permissions to turn "guest" posting off?
(I'd like to use this as a profile feature for my users)

Thanks!

It is the board default.

That one will be no problem for bots at all.

Thanks!
Only guests, and you can turn of guest posting by changing the permissions.

Thank you for your response,I added this earlier and I'm pleased with it.
One thing I did notice though, is there any way to get a users post count to increase with the guestbook posts? I noticed my post count didn't increase when I posted a guestbook entry.

Thanks :)

Below you can find the latest release of profile guestbook, version 1.0.0RC3. This is the first stable version of the MOD. The MOD will be submitted to the MODDB later this week, if there are no bugs found. If you find any bugs, please report them to our bugtracker. Thanks all for testing the MOD.

Changes in this release:
  • Bug #32: Missing language item in posting field.
  • Bug #33: Jabber options are displayed if jabber is disabled.

  • Do not allow to select email or jabber notifications if it is disabled, related to bug #33
  • Disable notification status if a invalid option is listed.
There will be no new feature release for this MOD untill the MOD is approved in the MODDB. You can however still request features at http://www.phpbbguestbook.com/tracker.php Bugs can also be submitted to the tracker.
