I have a question about the MOD.

It looks great, but what is the advantage of having it open with a button press, rather than it just being visible at the bottom of all topics? I am just wondering why you decided to do it this way?

I agree. If it could always be open that would be great !!

Sure,

i think the quick reply box is pretty massive, so i decided to make it not stretch the page even more by default. But of course you don't have to agree with this, and you're free to customise it. You can also ask for help of course ;)

Okay, i will make it easy for you to do that in the next version! Keep those ideas and requests coming ;)

Can I have an ETA on the next version (I don't ask much do i!? :D )

Bascially, is it going to be weeks or months? that's specific enough for me. I would like to wait for the next version but if its going to be like waiting for Olympus RC then I'll just use the current version ;)

Okay, for now just remove this from the template (posting_qr_body):

Code: Select all

if (document.addEventListener)
{
	document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', toggle_quick_reply, false);
}
else
{
	window.onload = toggle_quick_reply;
}
Edit:
It's a matter of days ;)

OK thanks. If you want another suggestion, how about having it stay open or closed depending on what the user last used. So if a user doesnt want to use it, it will just stay collapsed and the can use the normal reply method. However, if a user does want a quick reply, the only have to expand it once and it will remember their selection and stay expanded across the whole forum?

I have no idea how hard this is, so if I'm talking rubbish then ignore me :)

Once again, great MOD
