Did you remember to upload the new image?

I had the same problem -- everything worked yet the image did not show -- until I realized I had forgotten that simple li'l step.

I have installed this mod and its great, I have stripped it down so its always dispayed without needing to press the button and I have removed the button from my page. I have also made the box alot smaller so it does not look as messy.

All in all great mod, now looks exactly like my previous quick reply for phpbb 2

You could always include the image into your template file directly using the <img> tage ;)

OK, sorted the "no buttons" problem however now I get no quick reply button. I have refreshed imageset and theme.
This bit I dnt understand is this:
Find

Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.
Code: Select All

{S_POLL_ACTION}

Find

Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.
Code: Select All

{L_POST_REPLY}<!-- ENDIF --></span></a></div>
Why the two finds? I dont understand how the first find contributes anything.

Nah, you really should use imagesets, else the style doesn't support multiple languages ;)
Scriptmaster10 wrote:Why the two finds? I dont understand how the first find contributes anything.
The first is because the second find exists twice in that file, so i have to make sure you skip the first one ;)

Ok, I have gone through, messed around with styles, had a friend expert check through and we have it working.

One more question: I have a fixed width forum, how do I change the size of the text area?

Tested with:

phpbb version: 3.0 RC4

Browser versions:
  • - IE 7.0 -> works fine
    - IE 6.0 -> works fine
    - FF 2.0.0.6 -> works fine
    - FF 1.5.0.12 -> works fine
    - Opera 9.23 -> works fine
    - Safari 3.0.3 -> box doesn't hide even if 'hide_box' => true
