Any idea when you might have a fix for the GoDaddy "path" problem? Not trying to rush you, I promise - just wanted to know if I should focus on working on other stuff, or just wait a bit. It's fine either way - after all, everything you're doing is "gratis", so I'm just curious.

Thanks again for your hard work and great mods!

So hopefully I'll have all the quirks worked out of it by then.
:)
Handyman-
I've decided to join the "GoDaddy is the devil when it comes to hosting" masses. I'm in the process of switching hosts. And, the FIRST question I asked is whether URL rewrite was supported! LOL

After doing some homework, I discovered that the reason that this doesn't work on GoDaddy hosting, although they supposedly support the rewrite feature, is because (on GoDaddy), the php is parsed BEFORE the .htaccess, thereby causing the problem.

Not sure if you knew this, or if it helps any...but hopefully the next time you hear from me, it will be be yelling from the mountaintop that "I love this mod, I love this mod, I love this mod!!!!"

Thanks again for all your help and patience :)

First let me tell you I love this mod.
Also I tried to register on your site to tell you of my problem but never get the e-mail to confirm my account.

On to my problem
I run Statgate / KISS Portal with phpBB3 and installed the SEO RC4 mod on both Forums
http://www.hamradiostop.com/forum/
http://www.alternative-energy-forums.com/

The problem is when the mod is done on the portal page when you put the mouse over the forum link (index.html) all I get is the domain and not the domain/index.html
On the pre-MOD Site it shows the proper link.
when I use this HTACCESS file to default the portal.php page to load, (note the last line).

Code: Select all

<Files "config.php">
Order Allow,Deny
Deny from All
</Files>

<Files "common.php">
Order Allow,Deny
Deny from All
</Files>

RewriteEngine on

Rewriterule ^(.+)-f([0-9]*).html-(.+)$				./viewforum.php?f=$2&$3
Rewriterule ^(.+)-(t|p)([0-9]*).html-(.+)$			./viewtopic.php?$2=$3&$4
Rewriterule ^(.+)-f([0-9]*)s([0-9]*).html-(.+)$		./viewforum.php?f=$2&start=$3&$4
Rewriterule ^(.+)-(t|p)([0-9]*)s([0-9]*).html-(.+)$	./viewtopic.php?$2=$3&start=$4&$5

Rewriterule ^(.+)-f([0-9]*).html$					./viewforum.php?f=$2&$3
Rewriterule ^(.+)-(t|p)([0-9]*).html$				./viewtopic.php?$2=$3&$4
Rewriterule ^(.+)-f([0-9]*)s([0-9]*).html$			./viewforum.php?f=$2&start=$3&$4
Rewriterule ^(.+)-(t|p)([0-9]*)s([0-9]*).html$		./viewtopic.php?$2=$3&start=$4&$5

DirectoryIndex portal.php index.php
The forum link(index.html) will not work. if I remove the last line it works fine.

I hope I explained this correctly
