I'm assuming that I need to run an SQL query to insert some table fields, correct? Is it also possible to put it so quick topic and quick reply are on by default?
ok, now this one is strange... I also got that error, but a bit different

Code: Select all

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Unknown column 'display_quick_topic' in 'field list' [1054]
note the column name.... hmmm. well I just switched it in the db.. to just 'display_quick_topic'
works fine now... i did run these.. the fields were in there.

ALTER TABLE phpbb_users ADD user_display_quick_topic tinyint(1) UNSIGNED DEFAULT 1 NOT NULL;
ALTER TABLE phpbb_users ADD user_display_quick_reply tinyint(1) UNSIGNED DEFAULT 1 NOT NULL;

I Stand corrected, the Quick post no longer shows.......!????

1. Whenever I click a smilie in the quick reply, the whole page jumps to the top and no smilies get posted.

2. Topic icons don't work either.

3. Quick topic does not show.

Everything seems to be ok though, but is there a way to fix these issues?

Please, you can define more exactly where exactly this must be made. This point is obviously to 3x

Code: Select all

);

				if ($submit)
				{
and

Code: Select all

	);

						$sql = 'UPDATE ' . USERS_TABLE . '
Thanks

Ok I have installed this..I have the error

Code: Select all

Fatal error: ./cache/ is NOT writable. in /home/....../includes/acm/acm_file.php on line 88
which is displayed at the bottom of the forum all the time. I have changed permissions of 'acm/acm_file.php ' to 777.

I also have the problem that when I go to change the settings in ACP the above error happens and goes straight to a blank page to show the above error.

I have cleared the cache, both in the ACP and and directly (including removing .htaccess).

Lew,

When I disable Topic Icons, it also disables my smilies as well. This isn't supposed to happen. Do you know what could be causing this? I should be able to disable topic icons without affecting smilies and vise versa.

Anyone?

Highway311, you should always find first piece of code located after last found piece of code (or, if this is the first find command in this file, after the beginning of the file).

Volunteer Forum, after release of Quick Posting MOD 3.0.RC1.

northerncountry, probably I did something wrong in the template :P It will be fixed in 3.0.

Great mod! Thank you!

However, I have one tiny problem. From what I've tried so far, it appears that each user have to enable/disable the quick reply function in thier UCP. Is there anyway to force event logged in user to see/use quick reply?

Thank you!

Clear cache/ folder (delete everything without .htaccess)
Install ACP module (group "Board Management [acp_board]", name "Quick Posting")
what mean?
Locked
