is there a way to move this to the bottom of the page instead of the top?

Hello,

We see that you've posted your MOD's contents in your topic starter. Please instead offer your MOD as a textfile download (uploading your MOD's install textfile to a server and giving a direct link, with no registration restrictions), rather than posting the MOD's contents in your post, as you have done.

Please edit your topic starter as outlined in MOD Development forum rules section 3.f.5. This will allow people to see what your MOD is about at a glance.

This is simple and ingenious.

It is at the bottom
Maybe you did not find the correct piece of code...
My mods in MODDB:
Add Homepage link in header - Change user activity post limit - Post number in viewtopic
If you need support click on the support tab there and post your question.
Do not PM me - chances of viewing my PMs are way thinner than viewing the support question in the customization DB...

Hi, we've installed this one and it works a treat. only thing is it doesn't add the posters signature - even if its defaulted to do so in their UCP. is there any way of adding a tick box, or ideally just picking up the users UCP defaults without needing to tick anything.
any help appreciated
thanks

Try this:

Open /styles/prosilver/template/viewtopic_body.html
Find

Code: Select all

<textarea name="message" id="message" rows="7" cols="76" tabindex="1" title="" class="inputbox"></textarea>
After add

Code: Select all

<td><input type="checkbox" class="radio" name="attach_sig" id="attach_sig"/>Attach Signature</td>
This will add an option to attach signatures..

Great stuff. thankyou so much. and with a little common sense i worked out how to add the box for subscribing using the same principles.
Thanks again

Hi. I'm using a last topic title on index page mod and when somebody posts using this quick reply it doesn't auto populate the post title with "RE: whatever" I'm guessing this involves the use of the {topic_subject} value but have no idea how to pull it off. Here's my code in viewtopic_body (note the gubbins for subscribing to topic and for adding signature.

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN and not S_IS_BOT -->
   <div id="hizli_cevap">
   <form method="post" name="post" id="post" action="./posting.php?mode=reply&f={FORUM_ID}&t={TOPIC_ID}&sid={SESSION_ID}" onsubmit="checkForm();" enctype="multipart/form-data">
      <div class="panel" id="postingbox">
         <div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>

         <h3>{L_POST_REPLY}</h3>

         <fieldset>
            <div id="message-box" style="margin:auto;">
               <textarea name="message" id="message" rows="7" cols="76" tabindex="1" title="" class="inputbox"></textarea>
<td><input type="checkbox" class="radio" name="attach_sig" id="attach_sig"checked/>Attach Signature</td>
<td><input type="checkbox" class="radio" name="notify" id="notify"checked/>Notify me when a reply is posted</td>
            </div>
         </fieldset>

         <span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
      </div>

<div class="panel bg2">
         <div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>

         <fieldset class="submit-buttons">

<input type="submit" name="preview" tabindex="5" value="{L_PREVIEW}" class="button1" onclick="document.getElementById('postform').action += '#preview';" />&nbsp;
            <input type="submit" name="post" tabindex="4" value="{L_SUBMIT}" class="button1" accesskey="s" />
         </fieldset>
               <span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
      </div>
   </form>
</div>

<!-- ENDIF -->

If anyone could help with suggestions it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks
