And the user remains a member of the Morel Maniacs group the whole time? If you check the user's profile, is Morel Maniacs listed only once, or more than once?

Yes, He is still a member of the morel maniacs group the whole time and it is only listed once. I have just been clicking the Make user group default for Global moderators but it doesn't stick.

Gotcha. That's what I get for trying to think it through at 4am after a dozen beers or so!

This doesn't look like it is working for RC7.
I didn't read above posts.
I really hope this begins to work with RC7

I downloaded the mod (nice work by the way) and I think there's a missing comma in functions_user.php

Before this code

Code: Select all

'group_min_days', 'group_max_days', 'group_min_warnings', 'group_max_warnings', 'group_min_posts', 'group_max_posts', 'group_auto_default'

Halofight977: What exactly does your SQL server say?

Geisthund: I can't reproduce that. Can anyone else?

It does that for me too but when I check what default groups members belong to they still belong to their intended default group and not an auto group. I just need to make sure that if I go back to change any group settings I also uncheck that box before submitting again.

I don't know why it keeps checking itself - from memory, it's not checked by default when first setting up an auto group it's only later when editing or checking any settings within those autogroups that the box is checked.

Jelly,
I am still having that same problem with my moderator changing color and group default. I just don't know what else to do.

All right, I've found and fixed this bug.

I don't have anything for you, stitch625. :(

Well that really stinks. Why does it only happen with a moderator and not an Admin?

Is there a snippet of code I can place so the moderator cannot become default of any other group unless I manually do it.

Say like by using the user ID? you follow me?
