How can I change the rules for Karma Power?
Or, at least, how they work exactly?

Another thing: about the confirmation ("are you sure...") page. If on that page I click "NO", I get the comments and karma power page, even if the comments are disabled!!!
There's then a way to have that?

Just curious, why would 'needed karma' be set to -5? Why not just 0 instead? In theory it accomplishes the same thing (assuming the script treats negatives as negatives)

I put that -5 while trying to fix the problem.

Hi, I couldn't check all the 101 pages for my issue, and Google site:phpbb.com search didn't yield results, so here it is:
When I try to delete some karma assigning from ACP / Karma MOD History, I get the error:

Code: Select all

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Data truncated for column 'post_karma_search' at row 1 [1265]

SQL

UPDATE phpbb_posts SET post_karma = post_karma - -1, post_karma_powered = post_karma_powered - -1, post_karma_count = post_karma_count - 1, post_karma_search = (post_karma / post_karma_count), post_karma_search_powered = (post_karma_powered / post_karma_count) WHERE post_id = 7207
When I do that very query from phpMyAdmin it is done alright. I heard that Error/Warning 1265 is rather buggy in MySQL5, but that is not a relief for me :(
phpBB 3.0.4
PHP 5.1.6
MySQL 5.0.45

Hi, about 3 months ago, i had installed this mod, but it was not working as I wanted, so, i deleted it. But i think, that queries in Mysql left. Now i tried to install Karma mod too, but this time, installation went wrong.
I think, i should remove some queries out of my sql tables, bu i don't know which.

I also get these options in my UCP:

phpbb: 3.0.5
karma mod: 1.2.3

Installation on fresh board went great! ^_^
But it is normal that only admins can see the karma points (+1, +2, +3, …) on the comments page?

My Karma MOD Configuration (In case it has something to do with that…)
Anonymous increase karma: If enabled, only administrators can see karma increases. = NO
Anonymous decrease karma: If enabled, only administrators can see karma decreases.= NO

Hi,

I installed the Karma MOD and it seems to work, but I still have a couple of questions though:

- Is there a more elaborate 'manual' for all the settings in the ACP (what they do exactly)?
- Is there a way to disable sending or receiving notifications for all users from the ACP, so giving karma is anonymous?
- What exactly is "Karma power" and what does it do?
- I was playing with the MOD when I saw that if the comments are disabled, you click on a plus-sign in a post, then the system asks if I am sure if I want to increase. If I say Yes, I just gave Karma and I return to the post, but if I say No, I get the commentscreen. That doesn't look to be alright. How can I fix this?

Also, if you let users disable being rated themselves, would it not be fair to have their privilege to rate other revoked?

Regards,
WebmasterKS

Hello!
just a few minutes ago got ERROR:

Code: Select all

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay [1104]

SQL

My forum has 20 posts per page. After disabling Karma MOD everything is working OK.
I saw the same problem on page 37 of this topic but can't find a solution.
Please help.

Solved:
before query
$db->sql_query("SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=20097152");
