Do you think you could release a version of this modification with all the bug reports accumulated so far taken into account?

Thanks

bbjimbb you used the wrong quotations you used twice ' instead of using " which is a difference in coding

so its is

Any update on this? I was wondering if it would be possible to have these topic tags present in the search results (new topics, etc.).

Can each topic tag can be assigned for each forum? For example, I only want to display "open" and "close" tag on the Support forum and "review" and "approved" tag in the articles forum..

First, thanks for making this great mod.

I have installed the latest version in my phpBB 3.0.0 forum. Everything worked just fine for some time, but now I have a problem.

I know the issue doesn't seem related to your mod, but it is the only one I have installed that modifiest posting.php. So, here it goes:

Every now and then, the message doesnt get posted in the thread. And other times, the message does get posted, but as the first post of the thread and not the last. Sometimes the reply doesnt work, and sometimes the post appears as the first one of the thread. Also, the problem happens when I post multiple times in a short period of time (say 25 post in 2 minutes).

I created a test account if you want to login to my forum:

user test, password test.

the url is: http://www.foro-fyl.com.ar (you can post in any forum)

Thanks a lot, I hope you can help me.

  1. What do you mean by 25 post in 2 minutes?
  2. The MOD was working fine for a while, how long?
  3. Have you installed any other MODs recently?
  4. Check your PM box, I’ve PMed you my e-mail address... please send me your entire copy of the posting.php and /includes/functions_posting.php files.

My native language is Spanish, so I hope I can explain myself well. Here it goes:

1. I have a forum in a free phpbb hosting called Forumer that I'm moving to a new hosting. Since they don't give me access to the database, I have to manually post each of the 5500 posts, copying and pasting the contents of the thread and then changing the poster of each message. For that reason, I post rapidly in short periods of time. 25 posts in 2 minutes is just an example of that. I hope I made myself clear.

2. I'm not sure. But I had some issues when I tried to install this mod. Somehow, the phpbb_topic_tags table of the database was created with a different name, so I had to change it and then got it to work. Also, I'm using a subsilver2 style, so I followed some instructions given by another user in this post that worked like a charm.

3. The only MODs I have installed are this one, Evils Quick Reply and ACP Annoucement Centre. When I noticed the problem we are discussing I asked Evil <3 if it was his mods fault, but he said he didn't modify the posting.php file. So I came to you. I have double-checked everything in the installation of the mod, and uninstalled a few other mods that I thought could have been causing trouble.

4. I sent you my files. Really, Highway of Life, I appreciate your time. This problem is giving me some headaches.

A few more things I have found out about my problem. Like I said, sometimes the post doesnt get posted, and I get redirected back to the thread without any errors or warnings. It is then, when I try to post AFTER that failed one, that the posts appear above and not below the last one. I think that explanation came out quite confusing, so I apologise.

Thanks in advance!!

Let me see if I can spare both of us some time...

Why not go to ACP > Maintenance > Database Backup > Backup and save your database.
Load database into database of new host.
