When I tried to run the sql query I got this error:

Code: Select all

#1054 - Unknown column 'is_dynamic' in 'field list'
Any ideas?

Were you running it on a phpbb3 database?

Does this remove the option to tick "notify user of reply"?? I installed this mod and that option has been removed. So that means that every time there is a reply the author of the topic will be notified?

I think that you may have set Allow subscribing to topics: to No in the ACP. This mod does not touch that setting.

In the ACP under post setting a new "USER_NOTIFY:" option has appeared which has been ticked yes. But I haven't disabled the topic subscription option. By the way where do I get that? :P

This MOD is in a desperate need of a better title IMHO.

this was exactly the mod I was looking for ... wondering why this even need a mod, should've been part of "core" 8-)

Well, may I suggest to call the mod: ACP: Notify upon replies by default :ugeek:

Hi, After Installing the MODX, I could see the User notify upon replies: YES | NO under "ACP" and I changed the value to "YES". BUT under "UCP" -Board preferences-Edit posting defaults-Notify me upon replies by default: value is Still "NO". What is the reason for this. will the function work?
