Wow thanks man, I've been waiting for this. I'll try it right now!

edit: I'm done installing it, and it's working great if you post new messages. But all the old posts with "[hide][/hide]"-tags are unhidden. They appear like: "[hide]message[/hide]".

I really need all my other 5000 posts appear as hidden message too. Any way to fix this?

You mean you've upgraded your phpbb2 to phpbb3 already?

How did you do that? I thought an upgrade path from phpbb2 to phpbb3 isn't available yet?

Hi,

You are welcome to add my MODs in your MODDB as it is released under the GPL license.

However, I would not recommend you doing this because I have just wirtten this and has not been widely tested. I think when it reaches the stable version (i.e. 1.0.0) is a better time to distribute this MOD to the wider public.

How did you do that? I thought an upgrade path from phpbb2 to phpbb3 isn't available yet?

What do you mean, why wouldn't it be available? You can just upgrade from phpbb2 to phpbb3(rc2) with phpbb3's converter.

I hope you have a fix for this. My forum with phpbb3 running isn't live yet, so I thought to install this mod first and then upgrade the phpbb2 forum to the new version, maby the hide tags will work then?

I install this mod and works fine but i can put an image to tell the users that they have to post a reply to see the hide files?bcause this mod if you can see their post you doesnt see anything because there arent any announce, you see blank text.

Did you remember to edit the template files? Because you see should some warning messages

Ok thanks.

I found a bug. When you make a hide message, then if you edit the post, the hide tags will dissapear...

And also another thing, if I edit my old post that have hide tags (from the old mod), then if I edit the post, the hide tags are working fine, but then (as I mentioned) if you edit it again, the hide tags will dissappear.
