But this isn't even a mod. It's an application. But you can do the same thing with this that you can do with the ACP... I guess the HTML page thing is useful.MennoniteHobbit wrote:Hello,

Code: Select all
This is a very simple program to use. Once you have it running, you will see four text boxes (four largest white boxes), three checkboxes (small white square boxes with auto by them) and four buttons. The first text box is where you enter your smilie filename, YOU MUST INCLUDE THE EXTENSION! for example, "mysmilie.gif", NOT just "mysmile" The second text box is where you place a short description or your smilie, or what the smilie shows, for example "Angry" The third text box is where you place the code used to display your smile, for example ":-)" or "8-)" these must be unique to each smilie. The largest text box shows the contents of your package file, so you can see what it will contain when you save it. The checkboxes by the textboxes enable you to let the program automatically fill in the coresponding test box. If you check the one by "Code" then the smilies code will be automatically filled in (you wont be able to see the code in the text box, but it WILL be in the final file!) If you check the one by "Description", thefilename will be used as the description, but the ".gif" or whatever the extensions is will be cut off of the end. The checkbox by filenename will, once checked, produce another window where you must choose the folder containing your smilies. You then click "Use" and all of the smilies in that folder will be found. To add the smilies to the file, you muct click "Add" to add that particular file. for example, you fill in all of the required fields, then click "Add" you will see some code added into the large box. To make the *.pak file, you must click "Generate File" and fill in the filename, then click "Save" This will add everything in the large text box into the file. remember, everything in the large text box is added to the file. If something is not in the box, it wont be in the file! After clicking "Save" you will be presented with another option. A message will apear asking if you would like to create an HTML demo file. This option was added in version 2, and is designed for smilie pack makers who want to share their smiley packs, on the internet for example. Selecting "Yes" will create another file in the same folder as your *.pak file. this file is a simple webpage which will display all of the smilies in the smilie pack. NOTE: this file must be in the same folder as your smilies for it to work. The "Online Help" button brings you to this webpage" The "About" button tells you a bit about the program.
