Ok..I just installed the mod on a fresh phpbb 3.0.5 install with no mods installed apart from this one on a slightly modified style at: http://area51.entertainment-avenue.net, and I get this error when updating the moderator permission roles within the ACP which I know other users have reported similar errors when updating the permission roles:

Code: Select all

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

INSERT INTO phpbb_acl_roles_data (role_id, auth_option_id, auth_setting) VALUES (10, 32, 1), (10, 33, 1), (10, 34, 1), (10, 0, 1), (10, 35, 1), (10, 40, 1), (10, 0, 1), (10, 42, 1), (10, 36, 1), (10, 43, 1), (10, 37, 1), (10, 38, 1), (10, 39, 1), (10, 41, 1), (10, 31, 1)

I used your db_install.php file to install the mod because I am not the best at doing manual SQL queries.

Although the mod seems to work perfectly fine, the error is bugging me because it means if I touch the settings, it causes the error above and then turns everything else off in the role :? ...perhaps it could be something to do with new installs of this mod onto 3.0.5 :?:

The mod works perfectly fine on a board with no errors that I updated from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 a while back, yet fails to work properly on a fresh 3.0.5 board...now this I cannot understand :?

ok I know this is a late reply back on my issue, but the issue disappeared without me knowing. so I installed it onto my live board.

After I ensured I had refreshed the templates & themes again, re-purged the cache & also cleared the board cookies the issue went away...don't know what went wrong there...so my advice to anyone with the problem, would be to do what I just did.

Thanks for the great mod PrimeHalo :D

I've got a weird problem.

When a topic is deleted, it gets moved to our Moderator Log forum. That's working nicely. What's strange is that my moderators can reply to a deleted topic, but I can't. And I'm the administrator!

I've just upgraded from v0.2.17 to v1.0.7, but it hasn't solved anything. Is this a bug? Or is there something in the permissions settings that I've missed?

Sounds like a permissions issue.

So where can I fix that? I've looked right through the ACP, and all I can find are these options:

Under General > Board Settings:
Topic Deletions:
Trash Bin Forum:

Under Permissions > Global Moderator permissions > Post actions
Can approve posts
Can change post author
Can delete posts
Can permanently delete posts
Can edit posts
Can close and delete reports
Can undelete posts

Should there be more options here?

Check out the "can reply to topics" in the forum permissions section.

Hi everyone,

Thanks PrimeHalo for your continued genius. I tried to install this Mod into phpBB version 3.0.5, but can't find:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF postrow.S_ONLINE --> online<!-- ENDIF -->
in the styles/prosilver/template/viewtopic_body.html file.

What I have instead is:

Code: Select all

	<div id="p{postrow.POST_ID}" class="post <!-- IF postrow.S_ROW_COUNT is odd -->bg1<!-- ELSE -->bg2<!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF postrow.S_UNREAD_POST --> unreadpost<!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF postrow.S_POST_REPORTED --> reported<!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF postrow.S_ONLINE and not postrow.S_IGNORE_POST --> online<!-- ENDIF -->">
Should I stick the in-line addition in there?

OK i put the in-line bit in there and I have no error messages and things seem to be working but I've selected that it move deleted posts to go to a forum called "Removed posts", but they're not moving there. Also how do I stop it leaving an alarmist "this post was deleted by Admin" which screams "You have been censored" lol? I selected in the ACP that it move the message to Trash without leaving a shadow, so what shadow is it referring to if it's not that one?

Many thanks.

Yeah, sorry I didn't update the instructions for 3.0.5. I'll do that today.

The shadow is a standard shadow link when you move topics. It is not the "post was deleted" message. I call that a placeholder, and it can be disabled by changing the PLACEHOLDER setting in "includes/prime_trash_bin.php".

I do not know why it would not be moving messages to your selected trash forum if you have it set to do so.

When I click on the deleted topic I see the message "To view or post in this forum you must enter its password."

What is this password, I tried entering my login password but it is not accepting it, does any one know what the password is?

Sounds like you need to resynchronize the post counts.
