Second that.

There are only 2 mods withholding me from updating from 3.0.12 to 3.1.x
The advertisement mod, and this "Prime Post Revisions". Was kinda hoping it would have become a standard feature for 3.1.x

I do understand that and have a deep respect for the time you guys spend in developing and maintaining mod's like these, which do make a difference and all-ready solved some disputes on our forum about what was there and supposedly was changed by the author of the "offending" post.

Please don't feel being set under pressure by my remark; 3.1 Alpha is only 1 day young after all. ;)

What would happen with the post revisions all-ready made in 3.0.12 when we would update to 3.1.x, would they become corrupted, or being visible for all to see or send into outer digital space ?
Any idea's about that ?

The revisions are kept in a separate database table so there should be no corruption, and they shouldn't be visible to anyone without specific code enabling them.

I'm sure it could be done. This is the code in posting.php that stores the revision info:

Code: Select all

//-- mod: Prime Post Revisions ----------------------------------------------//
                include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/prime_post_revisions.' . $phpEx);
                store_post_revision_info($data, $post_data);
//-- end: Prime Post Revisions ----------------------------------------------//
So you'd probably just need to add a check to only execute that when the current post is the first in a topic.

Hi there,

i just made an update to 3.0.13 and made an update to your version 1.2.8, previos version was 1.2.5

Now after the update to 3.0.13 the revisions are stored in the db, but i can't delete the revisions, even once or all at once.

the user-rights, admin-rights and mod-rights are all allowed to delete postings.

debugging gives no error.

php-version is 5.5

Can anyone help me or giv me an hint ?

Anyone an idea why revisions can't be deleted from the database ?

I have no idea. Have you tried manually going through the installation instructions to check if everything is as it should be? Maybe a line got misplaced or deleted after an update.
