This mod isn't compatible with the advande seo rewrite mod from www.phpbb-seo.com. Is there any possibility, how nevertheless I can use it?

Thx for the answer. Ill try it in the near future. We only got 2 styles so creating images wont take more than 10 sec. :)

Primehalo,

Congratulations for a fantastic mod!! I found it very easy to install and very useful too!!

I'd like to leave a suggestion: can either all activity regarding post editing or simply the clearing of past revisions be recorded in the moderation log? This would allow traceability of moderators actions in case someone somewhere with moderation powers deliberately wants to hide their actions.

Thanks!!!!

Hi Ken,

since having updated to 3.0.3, there seems to be a problem with the revisions times - it's always the same time (namely the time of the last edit).

For example:

Current version: Obama next president
Time: 24.11.2008, 02:16

1. Revision: Obama next president
Time: 24.11.2008, 02:16

Original message: Obama next president
Time: 24.11.2008, 02:16

I just did a test and the times seem to be working fine. Are you sure you're looking at the "edited by" time and not the original post time?

Hi Ken,

the "edited by ... at ..." times - located at the bottom of a post - are correct. Just the times near the subject of a post (at its top) are always the same.

At the moment I see the revisions history of a post with 16 revisions, and the date is always 10.09.2007, 08:15 at the top of each revision. I think this might be the date of the original post.

Do you think something went wrong when I updated to 3.0.3?

Wolfgang

That is the original post date. I haven't changed those, so they would all be the same date, that of the original post.

There didn't appear to be much interest in it. What suggestions would you have?
diff view between revisions
Option for the author to allow others to view the history if s/he wants

I ask these two because it can be very useful when people post code snippets that they support and update from time to time.

Even without these features great job! I've been looking for something like this a long time, I'm glad I found this mod by accident hehe

prim already sayed, there would be no diff view cause its to hard to make, and it takes to many time to do it ;) , the only option i want in it is a pruning option :)

Hi,

when your style is based on subsilver2, please take a look at the contrib folder.

When your style is neither based on prosilver nor on subsilver2, you have to figure out the changes in your style by yourself (or ask the style author or pay someone who does it for you).

And of course: never forget to purge the cache - that's a main problem when installing MODs.

Are we talking of the same MOD here?? :?

Coz there are no Subsilver2 instructions in the contrib folder...Neither i could see any instructions for any of the template files for prosilver and that is why i asked to check if i have missed the file ... But i did a check again and i couldnt see any template file edits... :?

Did you look at the install.xml?
Files to Edit

* includes/constants.php,
* includes/functions_admin.php,
* posting.php,
* viewtopic.php
Why do you think you have to alter your template files?
Where exactly is your problem?

You don't see an Obama thread in your board? Propably you do not have one...

Wolfgang
