Up to now it is "only" code in alpha quality. Therefore you should not use it on live boards. You find a download link in the first posting of this thread.

sounds good, and something that I have been waiting for, for a while, as I really wish I knew why you don't have the ability to search for all attachments, only your own, your mod is looking good so far :D

sorry I don't mean to be a pain ...
another suggestion/request is perhaps the ability to attach via http links??
Perhaps not off-site uploading ... but as an example

I can upload my files through FTP into a folder in my forum. Then when I attach it to a post, I just enter the url of the file instead of having to upload it through IE which is not often as stable, and doesn't allow for resuming of uploads. I just don't like giving away file links, I would rather it be protected via the boards hotlink protection scripts.

There is some way to specify to show the attachments from only a category and his subcategories?
And specify how many attachments are shown per page?

Thanks

No activity to this project in 15 days. I would say it is dead.

Sorry, had to put down demo for technical reasons.

Aind if someone wants to test it, but doesnt want to make a checkout out of SVN, the mod is packed here:
http://www.phpbb.cz/files/amanager_svn_08302007.zip

WARNING: This MOD is still development quality and may contain(well actually it does) bugs.

Known bugs: Users see attachemnts for which they dont have permissions.

Since the name of the MOD doesn't fully describe its functions, Id suggest a new one, any ideas?

Nice to see that you are working on it :)

I ll sugest some names :

- Files Overview
- Attachment Resume
- Forum or Site Files
- Uploaded Items

Thats all I can think quickly :P

Btw for Image files is there will be a possibility to have a thumbnail ? Also a Filter per file type will be nice too :P

Thanks :)

Coding thumbnails at the moment actually...

Thanks for some tips, lets see what others come with :geek:

By file type you mean Image, Archive, Video as in groups of file extensions?

Sorry, for sparse updates, but my time is being munched up by other things than phpBB, but still, last commit restricts that an attachment will be displayed only to users with download permissions for it...

Next comes seach, hope we'll finish it soon.

It would be cool if there was a way to select which forums you could browse the attachments of
