That is possible with the filter :) Works also with categories :-)

what about adding the possibility to attach/upload files directly where the attachments are listed?
Tired of waiting for those download section mods ^^

We're kind of careful about new feature...but...well...I guess will be adding some functionality, the basic overview of MODs on the board is actually finished and usable now...

Thinking of how to solve the template...the current doesn't seem to be it...Maybe i'll leave it how it is now and add a menu to the right with some attachment -related functions(one would probably be adding an attachment(though there are some things to catch out here...))

The mod seems nice. But I am trying to change the tables a bit. Any idea how the tags({...}) for the following looks like?:
- Attached/added date
- Filename only
- Number of downloads only

I seperated them by myself right now. But I cant figure out how to add the time/date the atachment were sent/posted. Maybe need to add an column in the database somewhere to get this?

The timestamp for the posting time should be loaded, it should be accessible by:
$row['filetime']

Be careful, you'll have to run it through date(); first, it is a timestamp...

Thanks. But what do I need to do to run it through date();? I guess it´s something special I need to do when I set my $date variable?
Normaly the $date would look like this and I guess it´s here I need to tell it´s a date() somehow?

Code: Select all

$date = $row['filetime'];
Tried to run both basename($row...); and time($row...).

Like this :-)

Code: Select all

$date = $user->format_date($row['filetime']);

I have now change the "download" link to a button/img instead. But I get problems when I also try to add a javascript to change the picture when the mouse is over it.
The problem is that the script I found for this are declaring only one button in the <header> which makes only the first button to be changed once I put the mouse over any of the buttons. Any idea if there is any easy way to make this work?

Me again =D. Lets say I want to only show a specific filetype or only atachments from a specific forum. I guess I have to put the "$filter_forum" and "$filter_type" to the specific values. But I really cant get it to work. Tried to change them from:

Code: Select all

$filter_forum 	= request_var('f',0);
$filter_type 	= request_var('type','');
to:

Code: Select all

$filter_forum 	= test;
$filter_type 	= 'test';
But still all atachments are being displayed. Any idea what I am missing?

It isn't dead...it's just stable with the features we have implemented until now, we're not quite sure where to head now, what features to add...and of course we don't have too much time...

Would you be interested in adding some functionality? You can see a working version for example here(its a implementation of one of the portal creators):
http://damysterious.xs4all.nl/plusxl40/ ... _index.php

I'll try to pack up and clean up the MOD in the following week so you can use it if you like...
