what about it??

I'm not sure we understand one another here...

I was wonder if mej284 used the code that I wrote.\/
(btw this code works great for Image map users)

Code: Select all

window.onload = resizeimg;
function resizeimg()
{
   if (document.getElementsByTagName)
   {
      for (i=0; i<document.getElementsByTagName('img').length; i++)
      {
         im = document.getElementsByTagName('img')[i];
       imName2= document.getElementsByTagName('img')[i].indexOf('banner2.jpg');
        imName = document.getElementsByTagName('img')[i].indexOf('banner.jpg');
         if (im.width > 400 && imName == -1 && imName2 == -1 )
         {
            im.style.width = '400px';
            eval("pop" + String(i) + " = new Function(\"pop = window.open('" + im.src + " ','fullscale','width=400,height=400,scrollbars=1,resizable=1'); pop.focus();\")");
            eval("im.onclick = pop" + String(i) + ";");
            if (document.all) im.style.cursor = 'hand';
            if (!document.all) im.style.cursor = 'pointer';
            im.title = 'Click Here To See Image Full Size ';
         }
      }
   }
}

Secondly, kber's code ASWELL AS the code above are not working in IE7 and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas

So everyone understands, I used the code from the author of this thread, kber. This mod also works with the style MG Autumn and has been tested with firefox and IE6 and IE7. It has worked with all machines.

Thanks kber.

Hey, I found a solution to the banner resize!

Just delete the logo, open colour.css and edit this part:

Code: Select all

    .headerbar {
       background-color: #FFFFFF;
            height: 150px;
            width: auto;
       background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/banner_title.gif");
       color: #FFFFFF;
            background-repeat: no-repeat;

    }
Works perfectly!

Could you maybe instruct your script to only interact on images within/between the div with class postbody?

I haven't looked at the MOD yet, but have heard about the problems, just thought i'd throw that out there.

thanks :D !

I tested it on my forum..phpbb3 RC7. Works so good!..

The point is that we delete the logo image and put it as a background image in colour.css, so the script doesn't recognize the new logo as an image and doesn't resize it!
