*update*
First part of the mod is available, see first post.
This will make the user name show up in the current color of the user. And provide a link to the user profile :).

working good

just a suggestion, if the mod require an "add before" and then "add after" you would better make a "replace with" including both edits, its a bit confusing the other way

I like this concept but I saw that it is breaking all previous quotes because they weren't made with the user-id.

Grtz,

Nic

Thanks for the suggestion. This is my first mod so I have to figure out these things :).

Yes I know this. See also the author-note in the mod.
In alpha 2 on which I'm working this is fixed because it can also handle a user name.

Updated the link in the first post. In the new archive you find alpha 2.
The next version will have the acp part where you can set the way the quote is shown.

Re: [BETA] advanced quoting

Post by Erik Frèrejean » Tue Nov 06, 2007 7:42 pm

All the points I wanted to add in the mod are finished, so I just released the first beta.
You can find the mod on the same page as the alpha's.

If you like it, please test it and report bugs :).

When I download the archive, I see the files :?. Could you specify which files you're missing?
