Me too, and a lot of people have the same problem I think.

TUT has promised to re-write the mod but he hasn't got around to it yet.

If anyone who has this mod working is willing to send me their amended files so I can see where I have gone wrong, please PM me!

Hmmmm, I installed this on a second board, and guess what?
This install stays at 0 also, funny thing is , if I refresh, it will show the seconds, but if I go off of index page and come back its back at 0 again. That process is repeatable.

My other install has been running since 1st day this mod came out.
I may back it out, and reinstall the beta, then try the upgrade.

Apologies to those who can't get it to work, I just thought you were doing something really wrong,,,, .

Just noticed another thing on the install that only shows 0's.
As I mentioned , I can refresh the index page and it will update the seconds (as long as I stay on index page)
I can track the seconds to 59 and then it reverts back to zero.

Sure is aggravating,, such a lovely mod when it works!

*edit-
Another thought, the two installs that work are on Windows Servers with php Ver. 5.xx
This one that doesn't work, is on a linux server with php Ver. 5.xx

I guess I'm going to print out the code for all relevent files, and compare the two working install edits to this latest one that doesn't work. Maybe I can find a working solution.
I just refuse to believe that the reason my newest non working install is because it is on an Apache server and the two working are on Windows servers.

I will have to compare whats enabled in the php between the 2 servers (could be php enabled scripts that is the culpret)

I will be a while, I, like others have a lot going on at the moment. (why is that? its getting to be rediculous)

I think I had replied earlier about two instances of the same 'Find' statement in the file session.php. I think thats the only problem.

TheUniqueTiger, thanks for jumping in!
I did spend one evening going over those edits. checking and rechecking. Even started with a fresh file.
The thing is that when one does that at the end of the day, all the checking and rechecking can be for naught.

As it has been mentioned its a simple edit, made not so simple with the double Find. And if you have other mods, that also love the session.php file, then simple can "go out the door".

Its been a week or so since I did that, so with a fresh start I shall do it again.

Okay, I have been back thru all the edits for session.php, all the other edits also. Rechecked my database and those two database adjustments are there also. Still not working.

but there still is one difference that I have not taken into account. My working installs of this mod also have TUT's Statistics Mod installed.
This one that doesn't work Does Not.
Maybe that is a clue.
I will install the statistices mod on this one and see if that does anything.

*update.
This is confusing,
I went thru all the edits for one of the install that works, it has the statistics mod installed.

In the session.php,,, there are no edits for the online time. There are also no edits for any mod in my session.php ( I checked, downloading the files from two different computers, just to make sure I was actually getting the file.)

Yet this install works, it has worked for over half a year maybe longer.

I'm going to install the Statistic mod into this one that doesn't work and remove the online users time edits from the session.php. I'll find out then.

**2nd edit. I think I will back this out and give up on it. My only guess now is that something is not enabled in my PHP of my webhost. All other mods work. Just not this one.

Cheers.
Any chance of getting something like that? :)

Good morning,

I think I have the same problem as jimcarrel meaning that it counts the time but if I disconnect and reconnect, it falls to 0 seconds.

I have redone the installation but nothing changes. When I had mit on 3.0.1, it worked. Because of a worry, I installed directly phpBB3.0.2 and reinstalling this mod, since it no longer works at all.

Where does this the problem?

Thank you!

Novaslash, I am running 3.0.1, and it doesn't work. I need to upgrade to 3.0.2.
lol, that way I can make sure it still doesn't work.
I think it is problem with php that the webhost has, Mine is reporting as 5 something or other. But maybe one of the versions of php5 doesn't work very well.

After what I have been thru, that is the last thing I can blame it on. PHP

For my part, I can assure you that I have done work with phpBB 3.0.1 but since I installed on 3.0.2, it does not work if one goes offline, although I resettlement twice.
