Well, I am glad no one knows the hours I've spent hassleing with this mod, but it is nice to have it working.

And it is working, in the forum that it has never worked in, :D :lol:

is it possible to use this mod for admin eyes only to see the activity times of moderators ? like my bosses want to keep track of moderators time on site, but we dont want it posted in profiles and index for all users to see, make sense? lol thanks sounds like a great mod!

Thanks, but don't forget that updown provided the info, I just presented them in a usable fashion.
Now if we could just get a few more of the "un-updated" mods "updated".

Just make the template-edits with an additional <!-- IF U_ACP --> ... <!-- ENDIF -->:

e.g. for prosilver-based style:

index_body.html:
FIND

Code: Select all

<br />{L_TOTAL_TIME_LOGGED_IN}: {TOTAL_TIME_LOGGED_IN}
REPLACE WITH

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_ACP --><br />{L_TOTAL_TIME_LOGGED_IN}: {TOTAL_TIME_LOGGED_IN}<!-- ENDIF -->
memberlist_view.html
FIND

Code: Select all

<dt>{L_TOTAL_TIME_LOGGED_IN}:</dt> <dd>{TOTAL_TIME_MEMBER_LOGGED_IN}</dd>
REPLACE WITH

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_ACP --><dt>{L_TOTAL_TIME_LOGGED_IN}:</dt> <dd>{TOTAL_TIME_MEMBER_LOGGED_IN}</dd><!-- ENDIF -->
ucp_prefs_personal.html
FIND

Code: Select all

	<dl>
		<dt><label for="user_online_timeformat">{L_USER_ONLINE_TIMEFORMAT}:</label></dt>
		<dd><select name="user_online_timeformat" id="user_online_timeformat">{S_ONLINE_TIMEFORMAT_OPTIONS}</select></dd>
	</dl>
REPLACE WITH

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_ACP -->
	<dl>
		<dt><label for="user_online_timeformat">{L_USER_ONLINE_TIMEFORMAT}:</label></dt>
		<dd><select name="user_online_timeformat" id="user_online_timeformat">{S_ONLINE_TIMEFORMAT_OPTIONS}</select></dd>
	</dl>
<!-- ENDIF -->
viewtopic_body.html
FIND

Code: Select all

		<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_ONLINE_TIME --><dd><strong>{L_ONLINE}:</strong> {postrow.POSTER_ONLINE_TIME}</dd><!-- ENDIF -->
REPLACE WITH

Code: Select all

		<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_ONLINE_TIME and U_ACP --><dd><strong>{L_ONLINE}:</strong> {postrow.POSTER_ONLINE_TIME}</dd><!-- ENDIF -->
that's all...

how do i work it? i've installed it but dont see anything bout how to set it up or where to start setting it up? if there is no setup, how do i view users online time?

i have no clue how to work this, i notice time displayed below my logout link on the index page of my forum, but i'm not seeing the info in users profiles, or anywhere else, just that one spot and its my own times, i'll need to see the times of my moderators

Thx alot for this mod. Worked great after reading this topic. From the install files in the package it doesn`t work. Read what updown wrote in his replies and update the install file.

tested on phpBB3.0.2 with Portal XL 4.0 RC7 installed. On the portal edit \styles\subsilver2-based-only\template\portal\portal_viewtopic_body.html Instead of the viewtopic_body.html file.
