hello,
i've installed the mod 0.1.0 and his french language pack, all works fine and great thank you. ;)
i've just a little pb when i post an event.
In the message box, the bbcode doesn't work when i click on them instead it's writing they was actived? the text inserted in the message board work , but when i want to insert bbcode, it's write an "error on the page" on the bottom of my screen.
maybe i've made an error somewhere. Can you help me to find it.
thank in advance.

Double-check your file edits.

If you still get the error, then you should post the actual error...

I would be interested in exactly how to add this mod to the Calendar as well. What are all the changes that need to be made and where. Thanks,

Absolutely amazing mod! Thank you!

One question: Is there any way to be able to call the next 5 events individually (or whatever the 'display x number of next events' is), so as to be able to insert them in a javascript fading scroller?

I.E., {events1_display_name}, {events2_display_name}, {events1_subject} etc.

Thanks again for the great mod.

First great mod! Thanks! We have just started running with it but so far it's great!

One questions - if I missed this while skimming the 200+ pages my apologies. I also searched the thread but didn't find this:

Can one admin edit another admin's event?

We have multiple administrators. Three of us are in one of the private groups and leaders of that group. Any of the three of us may need to make changes to each others' events (as they're really for a shared-leadership group). When I go to the event added by another admin, I have no options to edit, delete, etc. All my permissions on the calendar tab are set to yes (as are all permissions) so I am at a loss as to what else might need to be changed or if this is just something that works as designed and I need to find a work-around.

Thanks!

I had 0.0.8 working just fine for a long time, then tried to upgrade to 1.0.0. I can't get the icons to show up to create new events. I double-checked my uploads and edits, purged styles and cache, checked to make sure there were no duplicate entries in the database, double-checked the permissions.

I'd like to uninstall and reinstall 0.0.8 for now, but I don't have my files saved from before the upgrade, so I need to download 0.0.8. Anyone know where I might be able to find that?

Instead of a comments box, I'd like to have a pull down menu of options - how would I go about changing that?

Hi,

this mod is realy great work.

I've installed it from scratch, so no previous version was installed. There are a view thinks i dont realy understand.

1. I'm missing the codechanges for index.html at the installinstructions, something like

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_CALENDAR_WEEK -->
<!-- INCLUDE calendar_week_on_index.html -->
<!-- ENDIF -->
i'm not using prosilver, but i can't imagin this wont be nessesary in this style. If so, i would be very helpfull to include this to the install instructions for people who doesnt use prosilver style.

2. I'm also missing codechanges for the css files. Don't think the buttonclasses used by this mod are already included in the standard css für prosilver.

3. THIS reported bug still exist in the current downloadable version. It was Reportet at Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:11 pm and a fix was postetd at Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:47 pm Why it wasn't fixed in the current downloadable version?

cheers

Small addon to add german holidays to calendar
Holidays are shown under the number of the day.

This will add german holidays icl. the movable ones to the calendar. Holidays are "hardcoded" to the Calendar, no database inserts are needed.
I think i got all. Common holidays like newyear are displayed in red, all others, in normal colour.

This solution will also be usable for all other Countrys, you just have to edit the dates.
Movable Holidays are based on Easter Sunday.

Instructions:

Open includes\function_calendar.php

find 2 times: (line 130 and 401)

Code: Select all

$calendar_days['NUMBER'] = $j;
Replace with:

Code: Select all

		$hdays = holidays($date['year']);
		$hday = $hdays[gmmktime(0,0,0,$date['month_no'],$j,$date['year'])][0];
		if(!empty($hday))
		{
			if($hdays[gmmktime(0,0,0,$date['month_no'],$j,$date['year'])][1] == 1)
			{
				$calendar_days['NUMBER'] = '<strong style="color: red;">' . $j . '<br />' . $hday . '</strong>';
			}
			else
			{
				$calendar_days['NUMBER'] = '<strong>' . $j . '<br />' . $hday . '</strong>';
			}
		}
		else
		{
			$calendar_days['NUMBER'] = '<strong>' . $j . '<br />';

I don't see the problem :? Your style is either prosilver based, in which case you can apply the prosilver changes to your own style, or subsilver2 based and then you could use this: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... #p10568715

I understood that

If a member wants to watch the calendar events a record is created in the database with "User id" and "notify_status" set to 0
For the next modification in the calendar an email is sent to the user and "notify status" is set to 1
No more email is sent to the user
"notify_status" is sent again to 0 when the user visit the forum ? or calendar ?

1 excuse my English and thank you for your effort to understand what I mean
2 please tell me if I am right and clarify the last point
3 please tell me if it is possible to force that each member shall watch the calendar and will receive an email whatever he has visited the forum or not

Hello from Paris France
Writing from France
Please be so kind being lenient with my english

Thanks for the hardcoded holidays.

I wanted to add the "Palmsonntag" which is Eastern -7 days.

I added

Code: Select all

$holiday[strtotime("-7 days", $easter)]   = array('Palmsonntag', 1);
but it didnt show up in the calendar, I purged the cache of my Browser but still not working.

Then I tried with

Code: Select all

$holiday[strtotime("-7 days", $easter)]-3600]   = array('Palmsonntag', 1);
Which gives me a PHP Error.
Can someone help? I cannot see the mistake.

I installed the mod through automod and when I went to add an event, I received this error

I did notice that the zip file had multiple copies of each folder/file, so am wondering if there are better install files? I used the link on the front of the topic. Thanks.
