Re: [RC1] Prime Warnings - Graphically display a user's warn

Post by **CASANOVA** »

Hmm again me! I have a small disagreement! look Image

This is how it look like! But how can I make a little space between images!

This is my code which I use for viewtopic_body

Code: Select all

<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS and .postrow.warnings --><span class="postdetails"><br /><b><strong>Warns:</strong></b> <!-- BEGIN warnings --><img src="./images/warn1.png" border="0" />{postrow.warnings.COUNT}<!-- END warnings --><!-- ENDIF --></span>
What to edit to have little space just like on my pictures before!

Just use CSS to add a right margin to the images, like style="margin-right:2px;".

I also really like the modification of Casanovas, but as I am using Prosilver based Templates, am rather unsure on exactly where to add the altered code. With Subsilver, there is only one edit required on viewtopic_body.html, whereas with Prosilver, there are two.

Primehalo, if you could help me with the correct code to obtain the same effect as Casanova, it would be most appreciated!

There are two edits with prosilver, but only one of those edits contains <!-- BEGIN warnings -->.

Many thanks for your reply, Primehalo. Just to check that the code I am now using is correct, it would be great if you could check it for me:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF .postrow.warnings --><dd><!-- BEGIN warnings --><div title="{L_WARNINGS}"><img src="./images/warn1.png" border="0" style="margin-right:2px;" /></div><!-- END warnings --></dd><!-- ENDIF -->
My concern is that the code will not add an additional 'warning image' when someone has more than one warning, and as my Forums are new, there really aren't enough people to test it on. Oh, and naturally I have added the other prosilver code that doesn't use <BEGIN warnings> as well. Thank you!

I haven't messed with this MOD for years, so you're just going to have to try it and see what happens. Just because your forum is new doesn't mean you can't test it, just create a new user and give him some warnings.

@clmmy: I don't know if you can't read or what you are thinking at all. If you want support for the Groups on Registration and Custom Profile Fields Mod you should go to http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/g ... s/support/ that is all which is said in the topic you provided.

Why should primehalo give you any support for any other mod?
