Great! You've saved me ;)

Tried posting on Nicks forum , no approval yet or no answer .
Any help would be appreciated !
Do you get "X's"? If so, try changing the setting on the hotlinks option in the control panel - that worked for me :D Hope it works.....

The link to the italian file (here: http://www.flying-bits.org/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=1675 ) is broken. :(

There are any language changes between 0.4.1 and the latest version?
I'm asking that because re-translating ALL the languages entries would be a loooooooong work... :?

Can somebody post to me only the lines to be changed?

Thanks.

nick,

Would it be possible to port this layover like lightbox but it is a darker themed version. This is originally a wordpress plugin but I'd love to see this in phpBB Gallery as I use the MOD.

Thanks!

Link to layover is http://sivel.net/wordpress/shadowbox-js/

Just installed 1.0.1 on a fresh forum. When I click on Gallery I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method: cache->obtain_album_list() in /homepages/31/d168152119/htdocs/forum3/gallery/includes/permissions.php on line 42
This is the contents of permissions.php at line 42:

Code: Select all

$albums = $cache->obtain_album_list();
I also get this error when I click on the MODs tab in the ACP.

Why don't you just compare the old file from 0.4.1 with the new one? Most Editors have this option.

Well, I did edit the file and upload it. But after further investigation I see that I missed my mark by a single curly bracket.

Love code

All is good now.

Nick, I am using your gallery and love it.
I have one slight problem and have read everything regarding this issue.

When attempting to upload a large file (greater then 1 meg or so) I am getting the fatal error in (or around) line 520 in posting.php.

I've increased my php memory size to accomodate the file.

However, the php memory limit is for the entire board / php session.

When you increase memory size, your board will happily utilize whatever is there. If you set it to 64, your board / gallery combination, will happily utilize all of it. It is just happenstance that there is enough left over for an upload.

As a test, I left it at 32 meg (which is my hosts default) and uploaded a 5meg attachment (through phpbb3's attachment system) which it did just fine after adjusting the proper board permissions.

If I were to upload a 5 meg file through the gallery, it 'fatal errors', even with 128 (increased from 32) meg available to the php session because, if 128 is available, it will use it... all of it.

This is the only thing keeping me from utilizing this in a production environment. Is there any hope of a fix? Perhaps freeing the memory prior to the upload?

Thanks for all of your work Nick.

I've tried to uninstall this using Automod. Now I cannot access my Admin panel and when I do i receive these errors

Code: Select all

Warning: include(./common.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jwiresit/public_html/savtrio/adm/index.php on line 20

Warning: include(./common.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jwiresit/public_html/savtrio/adm/index.php on line 20

Fatal error: Call to a member function session_begin() on a non-object in /home/jwiresit/public_html/savtrio/adm/index.php on line 24
So I tried to reinstall it to see if that would correct the problem. Now reinstalling gives me these errors as I run the installer

Code: Select all

The gallery seems to work @ http://www.wiresite.net/savtrio/gallery/index.php

However what would the uninstaller have done to lock me out of the admin panel?
