I can not get this to work. I have tried 5 times on a clean phpBB 3.04
After patching all the files listed in install.xml, I can not any log in to the ACP. It ask for password and all seems ok than it goes back to ask for password again.
So I can not clear cache files as the last task. (I have deleted the cache folder manualy)

When I go to /install folder all seems fine until I click install and then procede.
I then get an error message form the server that page is missing.
Here is the page it tries to open.
"install/index.php?mode=install&sub=requirements"

Has anyone installed this mod to a Windows 2000 server running PHP and mySQL?
Does this mod work with "AutoMOD 1.0.0 Beta 1"?

Test site I do try to install to.

This is normal & will happen until the Install routine is run.

Dunno but it definitely works using modshield. Why not install modshield (which will take about a minute) then use modshield to install this mod.

Your problem appears to be when checking the server requirements in the install routine:-
This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.
For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.
Why not set it up on a localhost first?

Thanks for all the feedback.
This is a local host server (just open for testing purpose)
I do always add mods to testserver before adding to real one.

So why webpage not showing I am not sure, since all other does work.

I did not know about modshield.
It would have been nice if it was listed in post #1 that it is compatible with modshield and where to find it.

I did test it and from the Modshield all looked ok.
I did added /gallery as the path for the files. (they are there)
and added "gallery" as the name for it.

When I do go to the /install folder it stops at the URL
http://jo-overland.no-ip.com/install/in ... quirements

With this error message:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function can_load_dll() in D:\WebServer\jo-overland.no-ip.com\phpBB3\install\install_install.php on line 116

Here is line 116
if (@extension_loaded('gd') || can_load_dll('gd'))

So my question again, has anyone installed this on a Windows 2000 server, or only linux server?

Is it possible to run a slide show continuously on a separate part of the forums?

Like pull images from a specific album, and randomly go through them and display thumbnails.

I had no issues installing this mod. So far everything is running great.
I was wondering if there is a way to include the recent/random section onto my personal website which hosted in the same domain??

Thanks for the MOD. :D

However I cant find replacement for the above top. <!-- IF S_IN_INDEX --> didnt work (i.e didn't make the index button active)
Would you know any other way of coding it

Thanks once again.
How about using an <!-- ELSE_IF --> statement for all cases except when you're in the Gallery?
oops! didnt see this reply until now, Novanilla, how would I write this?

I have installed the MOD, but when I click on my "link" it just reloads the index of my forum. Below is my code for the link in my overall header..

<li class="top"><a href="{U_GALLERY}" class="top_link"><span>Gallery</span></a></li>

is this correct?

Thank you,
Prime

Nevermind.. I figured it out :)
