Is it possible to change the album bb code so that instead of the image number below the thumb its the name of the image that was given at upload.. either the one defined manually or the one taken when you select the use filename as image name.

Cheers

Andy

There is a snippet on flying-bits.org, but be aware, it may create a high server load. http://www.flying-bits.org/viewtopic.php?p=2794#p2794

It is this: I had installed on my forum to version 0.4.0-RC3.
Because of some problems, I had to reinstall the forum. Reinstall it in another directory that is not inaccessible.

The problem is that when I would reinstall this gallery, I noticed that the version is not the same, which prevents to restore the tables on the gallery and copy the images to the new directory.

How I can keep the images, albums, etc ... in the new forum?

Okay, third time asking this:

I have custom links in my overall_header and when viewing the gallery if someone tries to view the avatar list, for example, it's looking for it in the gallery instead of going directly to the avatar list page. I'm sure the navigation issue has been answered before but I can't sit here and read through 176+ pages to find the solution. Could someone please tell me how to correct the navigation issue?

The only other question I have is ... since apparently there isn't a block I can download to add this to my Canver portal, is there a way I can add the recent images or random images to the forum index page?

This is just because when you are in the gallery, you are in the subdirectory gallery/ so instead of using the link calendar.php, which will then look for gallery/calendar.php you need to use ./calendar.php, which will always look for calendar.php in the root directory.

Hello, great mod!

1.01 Installed the recent on index page mod below but..

Hi, I installed this and figured out if you make comments ="0" there is no comments on index ;)
http://code.bantux.org/svn/phpbb-galler ... _index.xml

But I cant figure out how to only allow random images only index. Or recent images only.
Is there a way to show one or the other and not both? Both take up too much of the index.

I can't seem to get an answer on the authors site so I hope someone here has the knowledge
to help me with such a task...

I know in the acp you can turn recent or random off but that only alters the gallery index page
not the main site index page. The mod above calls for the whole block....

I have my gallery page set to only show random and I tried to take the code and incorporate
into my main index page but I don't know enough and keep crashing the board, lol.

Thanks a lot for anyone who can help. I'm amazed this has not come up already?

{ROOT_PATH}calendar.php should be used in the template and $phpbb_root_path in the php files

Hi Nickvergessen. Please can you help me out with this? When users uploade a picture it does not show up! The image is just an X as if the picture cant be found. But if you click on the red x it will show?!?!? Below is a link to what I'm talking about. The only images which are showing are the ones I uploaded when I had the messageboard offline and running on my computer before I put it live.

You may have to zoom in on the image when you open it as I have said whats going on within the image

If you want to see the gallery and were the prob is see this link:-

I hope you can help. Thanks
Jez

The images are to big, to create a thumbnail on your server.
Ask your host to increase the memory limit
