Thanks Nick,

I followed the fix however it's still there?

I didnt put the original code change in index.php, but in bb3portal.php to get the recent image showing on the portal page.

I then applied the suggested code to gallery/includes/common.php in which i still get the same problem

ReD

Must say thaks for the great support

I've installed this mod on my test system (easyPHP on winXP), and everything looks to be working except when I try to upload even the smallest picture I get the following:

Code: Select all

Your uploaded file is too large or corrupted
Any thoughts? Thanks either way

PS - here's what I upped the settings to and still get same error - even on very small jpgs and gifs.

Maximum file size (bytes): 4000000
Maximum image width (pixels): 1920
Maximum image height (pixels): 1080
Allowed to upload JPG files: Yes
Allowed to upload PNG files: Yes
Allowed to upload GIF files: Yes

I went ahead and uploaded to my site (CasualAdultGamers.com) and everything works fine, must be something to do with EasyPHP 1.8...?

Either way, thanks for your hard work on this mod 8-)

you both saw zip/contrib/addons/
yes it works, just the subalbums are set to have no parent and personal subs are deleted[/quote]

Thanks a lot! I have now the latest 4 pictures on my index, but you only see at the pictures:

- title
- poster
- message posted

What do I need to change, to let also see the total views and the total comments already posted with the picture?

And another question:

Since i have the recent pics on my index I see the whole time:

"Board index » Gallery" instead of "Board index" at my index page.

Thanks in advance

Can the users use the uploaded pics in their posts ?
I mean the picture it self not a thumbnail of it , I tried to copy the direct link of the uploaded picture and included in a post and it worked, but I'm afraid that this might cause an overload on the server because it will keep generating the picture every time a user load that post , right ?

Thanks

See: http://www.flying-bits.org/bugtracker/viewbug.php?b=207

@gajotnt: the import-system in the acp is a little more buggy, i think you should wait for a new release and uplaod them on the new posting.php

@sam_xp: should be right, but i couldn't test how much sevrer_load it takes...
you may try it.

As we fixed some minor bugs: http://www.flying-bits.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=86#p863
I'm glad to announce that v0.3.0 will be available on Thursday :geek:

I don't know if this has been posted before, sorry if it has.

In Smartors album we could add the code similar to below to receive an e-mail when someone uploaded an image.

I've just tested the code below in this gallery and it works fine

Find in upload.php

Code: Select all

/**
	* Complete... now send a message to user
	*/
Add before

Code: Select all

if ($album_id == 0) {
$album = 'Their personal gallery' ;
} elseif ($album_id == 1) {
$album = 'The first gallery' ; // change to name of gallery
} else {
$album = 'The second gallery' ; } // change to name of gallery

// as many elseif's as necessary for the number of gallerys you have, I have two

$from = $user->data [username];
$notification = $from . " has uploaded a new picture to " . $album . " You asked to be informed. Please, visit http://www.examople .com/pbpbb3/gallery/index.php to check it out.";
mail("Name<user@example.com>", "A New picture uploaded to the [sitename/URL] Photo Gallery", $notification);
Substituting your e-mail address and site name/URL. You can add other mail()

I get an e-mail as follows
{uasername} has uploaded a new picture to {The gallery name} you asked to be informed. Please, visit http://www.sitename/forumname/gallery/index.php to check it out.
I add the moderators e-mail to the recipients as uploaded images to one of me gallery's need approving.
My sig should go here... but I've nowt so say

Text for Image BBCode is missing

Code: Select all

open:
language/en/mods/gallery.php

Find:
'IMAGES_UPDATED_SUCCESSFULLY' => 'Your image information has been updated successfully',

After add:
'IMAGE_BBCODE'						=> 'Image BBCode',

Thanks :D i missed that.
ok i added the line, hears a small part of the code

'IMAGES_UPDATED_SUCCESSFULLY' => 'Your image information has been updated successfully',
'IMAGE_BBCODE' => 'Image BBCode',

'LAST_IMAGE' => 'Last Image',

but im still getting the error Image BBCode: [album]22[/album]

but only thing differt from his pic and mine is the {IMAGE BBCODE } <--his mine is IMAGE BBCODE with out the { } could this be why the fix is not working for me ? i looked at all 19 pages on this in this forum here.. and 2 days looking else where.. please how to fix this.. or remove it all the way
