Is there a way to better integrate this with the main forum?

I might have missed something, but 195 pages is a lot to look through.

What I have is the index page that links to the gallery, but I'd like to be able to show something on the main page for the gallery so people know when there is a new image posted, without having to check each time.

I can't really post a link as it's not family-appropriate.

There's a manual in the contrib/addons/ for an integration of the recent images on the main index.php

I am stumped and about to bang my head on the table...

I've installed the gallery on my other forum... but I have one problem that I can't seem to fix. The templates need to be edited to match the style, so I went and edited them, cleared cache, refreshed the forum..

No change. I make drastic changes to the files, do the same. No change.

So, I change the name of the template folder to "gallery 2"

No change. I have no other gallery template folder for that domain (both domains are same server, different folers, I've changed the name of both gallery template folders with no difference)....

I don't know where it's even getting the template files from. I even just deleted the gallery template folder... but it still loads the same as it first did. It's using the correct style images even... change styles and it still works (I use 3 styles that all use a single template set).

Any ideas?

Hey,

How can I get the "Post comment" form UNDER the posted comments?
Now it's above it but I want to have the form where you can type a comment under the comments.

I tried it out myself, and it worked on pages where already comments were posted. But on pages where were no commentc yet, the post comment form was not vissible. So I think I did something wrong.

Hope someone can help me :)

Just throwin this out there... you said you "cleared cache", did you clear both your site cache (via the ACP) and your own browsers cache? (ctrl+F5 should do a clean page refresh on most browsers in case you didn't know) Only posting this in case it helps, if you already knew this then don't mind me lol I'm just passing through :p

I've done it multiple times, manually deleted all the cache on both forums... I am utterly stumped, I don't even know how to figure out where it's getting the templates from. I've searched every folder in the domain and I can't find a thing for it.

Edit: I've found this is probably a phpbb3.0.6 RC1 error. The templates were being stored in the database repeatedly rather than replacing them.

where did i make mistake ?
Anyone ?
That seems to be a failure of your custom style, as I use some code from prosilver for this.
Can you give me some clue, in which file should i start to looking for mistakes ? I use prosilver se.
one of the css files in theme/
I've looked through all standard css files in the theme/ folder of prosilver se and the only one difference is that i've got prosilver viewtopic profiles on left (http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/prosilv ... s-on-left/). The rest of the standard css files is the same. Do you have any idea, what should i check next :?:

Hi,

I made an upgrade from 0.2.2 I think and something happened. I will add a printscreen from CP . At this moment I have no gallery. The full image can be seen at this link: https://camo.phpbb.com/840d2cec5d1d12e04121eb7c96b85f4135de2362/687474703a2f2f796f752e6f776e6d652e6f72672f7175657374696f6e2e626d70 Image

Regarding the modules in the ACP:
you need to remove the ones with CAPS-TITLES as well as the second group in total:
ACP > System > Administration-Control-Panel > MODs >

regarding the images: did you move the files, as stated in one update from gallery/upload/ to gallery/images/upload/

Thank you for the quick answer. First part solved.

2nd, regarding missing pics not solved. I moved the pics from /gallery/upload to /gallery/images/upload/ Purge Cache but still: There are no albums in this gallery....

I will add the printscreens here: 1. https://camo.phpbb.com/07129a730d9d92a755c3e5d42228823bc65d5a40/687474703a2f2f796f752e6f776e6d652e6f72672f67616c6c657279322e626d70 and 2.https://camo.phpbb.com/07129a730d9d92a755c3e5d42228823bc65d5a40/687474703a2f2f796f752e6f776e6d652e6f72672f67616c6c657279322e626d70

For the file size:
"Resynchronise statistics" is the button to hit ;)

the other thing, you came from 0.2.2?
I guess it was after 0.2.3, but on one update the permission-system was changed and therefore I dropped all permissions, so you need to set them up manually again.

Correct, now I have this:
Gallery statistics Statistic Value Statistic Value
Number of images: 10384 Images per day: 4.70
Number of albums: 18 Number of personal albums: 620
upload/-directory size: 1.55 GiB medium/-directory size: 292 KiB
cache/-directory size: 292 KiB

And looks better. Can you tell me more exactly how to setup those permissions please? Thank you again.
