I missed something...Why did Paul abandon his Ajax shoutbox??

And Raimon, are you thinking of offering an upgrade script from those of us who currently have the other shoutbox installed?

That's everything i need :D

I'm also thinking, I'm using atm for the MOD (see svn ) , meta refresh but I'm afraid that its going to cost some high loading , did somebody have thought about that , or some suggestions what the like to see? :)

my gaming clan lives on the shoutbox. I've had php chat rooms, HTML chat rooms, meta refresh shoutboxes...and this last one, the Ajax shoutbox, is truly the best. It refreshes quickly and doesn't reload the entire page. Any chance you want to work with Ajax? :) I can send you the mod files.

equally my users live in the shoutbox, were all disappointed that the AJAX box has been scrapped.

had a look at this and it looks nice but on a long index page with the shoutbox at the bottom it couldnt be more annoying that after you post a shout your sent to the top of the page.

if you incorporate ajax this mod will fly off the shelves :ugeek:

I love the mod, but I don't think I'll use it. I am in dire need of ajax, and our friend paul abandoned his:(
Is there anyway you can add ajax?

I'm planing to use ajax into it, I'm not very happy with the meta refresh that i have added, and i think some ajax save a lot of loading from the index , so yes I'm going to add ajax :)
