Wish they allowed you to attach/upload images as signature.. they do it for avatars so I don't get why not for sigs (yea I know this is off-topic.. and Ive seen "no feature requests" all over this site.. but it's bugging me and it would be way easier than the bbcode thing or using an url)

Well I know I haven't been active.. anyways
My site is always getting a constant overhaul So I was considering phpbb again
One of my big issues with it though is the search optiobn seems rather difficult to use that's to say to come up with results that actually refer to what you were looking for... (ok maybe it's just me)
As for that signature attach thing.. maybe again it's just me but I think VB is the only one that does that
And I am definitely NOT coughing up around 200 euros for a site that's just a hobby to me
Bottomline.. once my sitehost has set me up on another server (again) and my D7 works as it should I might go for phpbb again

The current module is not stable enough, a RC4 that does not contain the necessary files and gives site stopping errors, thats to much, but i won't go to the drupal forums because the version i use, works pretty wel, although its outdated :lol:

Man.. don't even mention the forumthing on Drupal (org), the minute you do thatyou get "weird looks"
Now I like drupal but that kinda attitude is just "hey our stuff is elite and everything else is garbage" or something like that..
And thnx for the warning I suppose :lol:

Well phpbb integrates well with drupal I guess thanks to that bridge.. but each damn time I install phpbb it gets jumped by spam.. lousy horrible spam protection sorry phpbb..

Don't set phpbb as the master, if you decided that its the master, install the anti-spam ACP module and get your keys for akismet and stopforum spam.

In case of drupal being the master:
Install the stopforumspam module
Install mollomn module..

Should keep 99% of those spambots away from your site ;) .
