Deleting specific cache files and refresh styles

Post by killaziller »

It's a good day when a developer can push his local updates to his remote forum with git and have it output in a patchlog. I created the patchlog myself which executes a simple "git log --pretty" command.

Currently, this is my workflow:
  1. Make some modifications
  2. Push updates with Git (much better than FTP in my opinion)
  3. Login to ACP
  4. Refresh templates & styles
I want to remove the last two steps by executing the patchlog file through Git's hooks so that I don't have to touch my server at all for the updates to show up and so that it looks like this:
  1. Make modifications
  2. Push updates with Git
The Question: Given that I can retrieve the list of updated files, how would I clear the specified cache files? How can I refresh the stylesheets?
