From the code you posted, the phpBB session code starts on line 252. It needs to start on line 1.

Yes, but I was wondering how to split it up. (what to put at the head section and what to put at where I want it to appear) I understand that it would be best to do it this way.

I am not very familiar with it :\

As already noted above, you should use the templates system.
