UMIL: no keys other than primary

Post by darksminky » Sun Sep 16, 2012 9:11 pm

so, I'm making the UMIL installer for my mod, and everything's running smoothly until I get to making some tables, and I think it's to do with the fact I don't have any INDEXes or UNIQUEs, all my tables have are PRIMARY KEYs, is there a way to write the UMIF in such a way that I can not have indexes?

things I've tried so far:
  • having nothing in the key array
  • not having a key array
  • throwing in a dupe of the PRIMARY
if someone can answer this question, I would be quite grateful, good luck everyone

I've ended up throwing some indexes into the table, but now I'm curious: is it possible?

figured out the error, had nothing to do with the keys, but this is a valuable lesson to anyone using the UMIF creator:
do not put '' where you mean not to have a default of an empty string, or your integer columns will goof. My issue is that I had put '' into the second box of the primary key input, so it output

Code: Select all

array('column', '')
instead of

Code: Select all

'column'
, thus throwing a massive monkeywrench into the mechanism, because the script adds tons of descriptors for that second parameter, but when blank simply spews the parameters out of context, understandably enough.
