Public Queue Statistics

Post by MarkTheDaemon »

What does everyone think about having some MOD validation queue statistics available for the public to view? For example, amount of MODs in the queue, average validation time, % that are approved etc.

I ask because I've just submitted a couple of MODs and there is no estimation of when they will be validated or even looked at. This isn't a criticism of the system, I used to do the job myself so know how time consuming it can be at times and appreciate that it takes time, more an idea that might give MOD authors a bit more of an insight into the system and give them an approximation of how long they should be expecting before hearing from the team?

Thoughts?

I still think this is a reasonable idea so have submitted a tracker request to see what the team think about it. If you like it, that's probably the best place to shout about it :).
