Well it seems that it isn't. It is choking on the templates if I update phpBB that way:

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/template.php on line 222: Undefined index: template_id
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/template.php on line 232: Undefined index: template_inherits_id
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/template.php on line 222: Undefined index: template_id
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/template.php on line 232: Undefined index: template_inherits_id
Guess I'll go back to 3.0.2 and than manually run the updater :(

I'll debug and see what needs to be changed for it to work with 3.0.3. Thanks for reporting.

Couple of suggestion for this tool (which I love)

1) Allow a phpBB version to be selected. I have coded this myself and it helps on support issues to quickly replicate users environment. In sources I have phpbb300,phpbb301,phpbb302 etc.. and then a dropdown in the create board form.
2) Allow extra styles to be selected and installed with the board.

Using the latest SVN of Blinky with QI causes an error.

install_mod.php line 295 includes the acp_modules, however this has already been included by the time QI is running the $install->add_modules(false, false); which is where the file is included for the second time and the class is redeclared.

Changing to a include_once in install_mod.php fixes, but I have not studied the flow to understand if there is a cleaner approach

One thing i just love is the feedback you provide. :)

I have implemented this in SVN. Very nice idea, and pretty easy to do.

Also really nice idea, I'll consider this.

I've fixed this by adding a class_exists() check to the include in blinky.

Expect a new version some time soon. :)

I just run into the following. I've installed around 20 boards and had to clean them which is quite annoying especially when you have to check something quickly on a fresh installation. It would be really nice if you could remove the installed boards through QI.

Any chance of a update QI that supports the latest AutoMOD? I updated the sources but appears the installation has changed and more work is needed than just change include filename and module names.

It will be updated for beta 2. You can use an old version of automod for it to work. We might have some more changes and I don't want to do work twice.

No problem. I was testing a checkin to AutoMOD since B1 so not really an option to use an old version ... QI just makes life so easy it amazing how quickly you can come to rely on it.
