Editing a personnal table through acp...

Post by cotp »

Hello :)

I have a personnal mysql table inside my database with two simple fields that I would like to be able to edit (insert, edit or delete data) through the ACP

Do you have any idea on how I could achieve this ?

A tutorial maybe ?

Thanks in advance,

You will need to create a ACP module

Documentation aruond the modules are at http://www.phpbb.com/mods/documentation ... /index.php

Are you happying enoughing doing this type of stuff out of the ACP? If so the docs on the module system will allow you create that sort of page inside the ACP.

If you are not sure how to do that type of page even outside the ACP let us know. I have many such pages and I can try put a simple example together for you.

thread hijack ;) Even though the OP hasn't requested it, could you possibly sort out a simple example anyway please mate?
I've tried following the documentation, but it never seems to work for me. If i can get a working example, that i can build on to do what i need, that would be superb.
As i too simply have a table with a couple of fields right now that i need to be able to alter directly through the ACP.

Thank you,
