forum - custom site integration

Post by Zlatko.Lakisic »

Ok i just did a fresh phpbb3 install and it looks great! I have it running along my own cms I am using. Now when a person registers on my cms I want the registration to add a new user to phpbb also, how do I do this, what variables do I need to place in which tables? Also as for the sessions, how can i emulate phpbb sessions so that when a user logs in they login to phpbb also?

If your CMS is written in PHP, you can probably use the user_add() function. It is documented in the MOD Documentation :)

So you can look at the code there in functions_user.php and replicate teh SQL queries in your own programming language :)
