Name, avatar,....proper showing mod

Post by eireann »

HI
is there a mod that displays the posters name, avatar etc, as it standard for people who write from left to right, on the left side of the post.
I can imagine that for arab writing people having name and avatar standing on the right of the post makes sense, but for the others it looks better if it stands on the left side.

So, how to modify the forum to make name and avatar, ranks etc appear on the left where it belongs?

This is only on Prosilver related styles. All subsilver2 related styles display avy and username on left. ;)

great, thanks a lot.

KB Left profiles looks a bit complicated though, I installed subsilver for the time being which looks "cleaner", easier to read.
To make the changes I would anyway make a copy of Prosilver and then implement the changes.

Right now I am still new to phpBB3.
Over time I will ask less stupid questions.

I've been trying to do this all day, I go through the first 8 steps & when I hit submit, I get a blank screen :(
I've tried it in 2 different browsers, same thing.
Any ideas?

Also, even if I were to get through that, I'm not seeing where this is:
9: On the left, click Templates under Style Components
10: Click Edit next to Prosilver.
11: In the drop down menu, go to the very bottom and select viewtopic_body.html and it should open an editor with the current code inside it.
I don't have an 'edit' in Templates  only a 'details' & when I go there, there's no drop down menu :(

thanks in advance

i dont know how the instructions can be more clear, but i will give it a try...

- click the STYLES tab in your ACP
- on the left side, click Templates
- on the right side, click Edit

continue instructions as usual...

No, I can read, the problem is, there's no 'edit' to click on. There's 'details' & 'delete'.
If I click on 'details', it says:

I don't believe so...nothing has been downloaded
I was sampling out different themes, that's the only thing I can think that might have gone wrong. But I deleted them all, and have the same problem
