IntenseDebate and phpBB together

We would like to use phpBB with the commentarysystem of IntenseDebate.
They dont have a integrration for the phpBB at the moment but are willing to help/cooperate if phpBB could do the coding.
To have just one login and that the commentaries also will incorporate in the phpBB-forum.

Like this:
You make a commentary to a article and this commentary-thread from the article shows up in a thread in the phpBB-forum

You're talking about changing the entire structure of how phpbb handles posts. That's a hefty job, there's so much you'd have to change. I don't think many developers would even touch it, as its pretty much changing the 'bb' of phpbb. You much better of getting the comment system and customly building up from that. OR You could simply style phpbb to look like the comment system.
