Topic post via custom HTML form?

Post by chainprayer »

Hello! Is it possible to post a new topic (open to guests) via a custom HTML form that I am writing?

I am developing a Dashboard Widget for OSX that allows people to post quickly in a specific section of my forum. I have everything all set including the widget layout, HTML form, and submission URL. I just need to pass the info to my board through the form but can't quite figure out how...

I appreciate any insights you may have!

Check out the Manual Post Entry topic for the method to submit posts programmatically. You'll of course need to format the form data into the post text and subject.
