No change. I even thought about changing back the page title (just in case) but of course that is not the problem. This is so strange...

Never mind! The gremlins

must have done their work, because the button works again.

I still have one problem, though. On Facebook, it doesn't reflect the title of the thread correctly. It just names my forum and then it says "information", but not the subject.

This is what it says in my overall_header.php:
<title>SFC/EM investigacion •{PAGE_TITLE}</title>

I've also tried:
<title>SFC/EM investigacion • {L_MCP} • {L_UCP} • {PAGE_TITLE}</title>

Either way,
On my browser tab, my page title shows: "SFC/EM investigacion · Ver Tema - Biomarcadores para SFC" (the topic title)
On Facebook: "Eli likes... SFC/EM investigacion · Información. "

Any ideas?

FYI: Facebook had a major problem with Like Buttons yesterday which is now fixed

So that was the problem!!! They could have chosen a different day to mess it up that the one I chose to modify my forum

!!! I simply couldn't understand what had I done to mess up something that worked before!!

Still, I need help with the link, as it is shown in FB, because it doesn't reflect the title of the thread, so every "I like" action says exacty the same thing on my facebook profile, people will think I've gone crazy clicking the "I like" button, or maybe that I've got Parkinson's disease!

I spoke with someone who knows a bit about this.

They said we need to ensure that we have the following in the Overallheader

also

need to set the og: meta tags

I've not had time to play yet but I thought I would pass this onto you in case you have time to test.

I don't know how to explain this properly, but it is like the Facebook "bot" doesn't know exactly what information to extract from the META data.

One time I liked a thread and it was unable to extract any at all. So it just said "_____ likes content on mysite.co.uk".

Another time it did it perfectly, extracted the thread title, the website title and everything from the meta tag.

Another time it actually took the page title itself not the thread title so it said "_________ likes mysitename - View topic - Hello there!"

Yep, I think I'll have to give up.

Seems no one can help, The FaceBook Developers forum seems to suggest adding the various MetaTags which I have done but still does not work....
