[REQ] Multi Quote

Post by Gino » Thu Jul 22, 2010 12:58 pm

it will be so great when someone do this feature..

many times we need to reply several post..
so quoting every single post will wast time..

but by quoting many posts and reply for all one time will be faster and easier..

so. PLEASE... can someone add this feature in topics ??

If you click the reply button, look at the topic review under the textbox and you'll see the quote button in each post. Click the button of the post you want to quote and it appears in the textbox. You can do this multiple times without ever leaving the page.

You can also quote spesific text by highlighting the words and clicking on the quote button.

( FYI, for anyone else who stumbles upon this post )

How do you like it? May describe it more detailed. May with a photoshop- or paint-screenshot.

OK.
Look this example. This is not PHP but let say that is what I am looking for:

http://www.supermama.lt/forumas/index.p ... 427&st=372

Look in the right bottom corner of each post. There is button "cituoti+". It means "quote+".
So you just go all page down and mark what you need to quote. Than you just press "atsakyti" button which means "post reply". I know it is similar to PHP3 QUOTE and tha QUOTE each post but PHP3 way is much more complicated. And also you cant UNQUOTE like in my example. When you press cituoti+ you get cituoti- so you can quote and unquote as many times as you want and with no effort.
I hope you understand what I mean....

The closest thing I know that does that and is a validated MOD here is https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... ly_editor/ but its a quick reply MOD.

You can do a search for "Prime multi-quote MOD" and grab a download, but the MOD author abandoned it a while ago.

If this Prime mod is made for older version - will it be dangerous to install it in my newer version?
I fount it and downloaded already.
