Need to add an image next to users names...

..that will be chosen from a drop down. We have a sports message board and want to have a favorite team logo show beside the user name wherever it appears. I would settle for just in the profile box next to their forum posts but would prefer to have it show anywhere their user name appears. Legend, last post, post author, etc. I would like for this to be selectable from their user control panel.

We arent currently using ranks so if there is a way to do it with ranks then that would be good as well. TIA

Is it for a single team or every user is going to be able to select his own team's logo. in otherwords is the forum a mult team supporter or for a single team?

Multiple teams. Pretty much every school from a BCS conference plus some smaller ones as well.

You could set it up that the images would be their avatars. Just make a gallery of the images you want, and let your people choose.

We want to keep our avatars, just have the logo next to the name. We have it like this on our proboards site but we are changing over to phPbb and want to at least keep that feature moving forward since its not looking like we are going to be able to keep our user reputation system.
