On our forum we recently had someone who was posting under different usernames causing problems. I know am aware that if you click on the "information" tab that it will show if someone has posted with different usernames under the same IP. However, its kind of cumbersome to have to click on the information tab for every poster. Is there some way to get a notification if this happens? If the forum software picks up that someone is posting under different usernames and on the same IP address is there some way to get the software to notify you?
That'd be quite a performance impact to always check against all other IPs being stored (and there are more places to look than only on posts). Plus: you'll have false positives for those who are using an ISP which assigns dynamic IPs. Last but not least: who should get the notification and how?

Well, what if it "watched" the area that is inside the information tab of a post and anytime a new match was found it could notify the Admin of the match that was found.
