[Request] Forgot Username ..?

we have mod like this in phpBB2 ..

I wish to see it works on phpBB3

Hi mara7,

a very similar MOD already exists for Olympus:

Prime Login via E-Mail

This MOD will let a user login with either their username or e-mail address.

As soon as you have logged in with your email address you should be able to see your username (hopefully).

thnx 4 the MOD ..

but when the user forget the password too .. then he can't login also !!

Hmm, you are right. But what if he also forgets the URL of your board?

he can make search by the board name

.. remember the Google is our friend

also maybe he can got the link from mass emails of the board ..

I think that there is no requirement for a box of username in the page of forgot password.

the email box is enough like a vBulliten. to send username and new password.

Another vote for this mod or a way to get temporary password by just putting in email into request form.

this would be very helpful.

A lot of users who dont visit often and get a reminder email will forget either their password or username.
If you could just enter the email and get both pass/user it would be nice.
